Spotlight: Chris Lamont
We’re introducing a new feature in our e-communications to highlight special “Teal Warriors” who are taking awareness-raising to a whole new level. This edition, we focus on Chris Lamont, a pilot with SPB Aviation, who flew with Susan and Gary Blackie for many years. Chris not only ran 26.2 miles in the Chevron Houston Marathon in January in honor of our foundation and ovarian cancer awareness, but he most recently designed a custom-made flight suit with our logo embroidered on it! “Mrs. Susan's determination and strength is very inspiring. The least I can do is help spread the word and help others become aware,” said Chris, “It’s time to get #extremeaboutawareness.” Chris uses his suit for indoor wind tunnel flying – check out these pics. Thanks to Chris and all of our Teal Warriors out there raising awareness. Your support makes all the difference because it could lead to early detection which saves lives. Interested in showing us your Teal support, drop us an email at info@spbovariancancerfoundation.org or visit us on Facebook or Instagram. You could be our next Teal Warrior cover story!
